Our TAE courses are designed to equip candidates with the essential skills and knowledge required to deliver high-quality training and assessment. Our experienced team of trainers and administrators are committed to supporting each candidate throughout their learning journey with SLSQ Education.
We offer a diverse range of skill sets and qualification options, ensuring there is a pathway to suit every learner.
The SLSQ TAE Pathways Program is designed around the TAE40122 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment and offers progression milestones to candidates:
These pathways allow you to gain nationally recognised skill sets and begin working as a Trainer or Assessor sooner. If you choose to complete the full TAE40122 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment, all units achieved through these skill sets will be credited, so you won’t need to complete them again.
Trainers deliver training and contribute to assessment under supervision. This role is responsible for using approved materials and demonstrations to build learner skills, and knowledge through nationally recognised training. This role operates under supervision of a holder of the Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or equivalent.
Assessors conduct assessment only, including making assessment judgements. Assessors are responsible for conducting competency-based assessments in a vocational education and training environment.
Facilitators deliver training and assessment without supervision, including making assessment judgements. The role of a facilitator is to deliver high-quality, engagingtraining and ensure the integrity, consistency, and validity of assessment outcomes, confirming that learners have demonstrated the required skills and knowledge to be deemed competent.
