Beach Safety is the core business of Surf Lifesaving. Our vision is zero preventable deaths in Queensland public waters. Volunteers are provided with nationally accredited training that provides the knowledge and skills to keep the beach-going public safe.

- CPR/First Aid/Advanced Resus - Sunday April 13th at Branch office in Smithfield - (pre-learning must be completed prior)
- IRB Crew and Driver Course:
Training Session 1: Saturday May 10th @ Port Douglas SLSC
Training Session 2: Sunday May 11th @ Port Douglas SLSC

Observer Award - April 10th and 17th
