Welcome to Wide Bay Capricorn Branch

Founded in 1953 and originally known as the South Barrier Branch, the Surf Life Saving Wide Bay Capricorn Branch Inc. has a long-standing history of serving our communities. As a proud affiliate of Surf Life Saving Queensland and Surf Life Saving Australia, our branch supports clubs that are the cornerstones of their local communities, stretching from Yeppoon in the north to Hervey Bay in the south.
With a membership base of 550 active volunteer members, our clubs provide essential volunteer patrol services to their communities. These services include educational, sporting, and membership development opportunities for all members.
A dedicated team in the Regional Office offers comprehensive support to the Branch, our affiliated clubs, local government, emergency services, and our communities. This includes surf lifesaving advisory, and operational, educational, and administrative assistance.
Thank you for visiting our website and for your continued support of the Surf Life Saving Wide Bay Capricorn Branch
