Inflatable Rescue Boat (IRB) racing is an exciting sport that gives surf lifesavers the chance to put their rescue skills to the test.

IRB teams consist of a driver/s and a crewperson/s with the objective of rescuing a ‘patient’ or ‘patients’ from the water and being the first team back to shore.
