Surf Lifesaving is an amazing activity that grows a child’s skills and confidence in the beach and water environment in a supportive way while making new friends.

The program offers fun, participation and play as well as gaining valuable lifesaving skills as well as wading, running, swimming and board paddling. The nippers will also be able to showcase their skill at club, regional and state surf lifesaving carnivals representing their clubs if they wish.

Surf Life Saving also provides leadership pathways for members through development programs that begin at the club level and also organised and run at branch, state and national levels. Members will have opportunities to build on their personal and professional capabilities in becoming Junior Club Captains, and Junior Age Managers and obtaining their Surf Rescue Certificate then Bronze Medallion and First Aid Awards to name a few.
