surf risk rating

Surf Life Saving Queensland is implementing the Surf Risk Rating (SRR) tool across all Clubs, Branches and State operations to strengthen risk awareness, improve consistency and support safer patrols, training and events.

From 1 September 2026 (start of the 26/27 season) SRR use will be mandatory across Queensland.

If you’ve completed the SLSA eLearning module but can’t access SRR yet, this is normal. It can take up to 7 days for access to be granted once the course is completed.

If you’re still having issues after this time, please contact the SLSA IT Helpdesk

Departments will be running webinars to give an overview, app demonstration and answer any questions you may have. Stay tuned for more details.
