Our Provide First Aid / Advanced Resuscitation and Oxygen Therapy course enables participates to develop the skills and knowledge required to manage emergency first aid situations and deliver competent emergency care until arrival of professional medical support. This course offers skills and knowledge in the use of specialised equipment in the provision of resuscitation and oxygen therapy in line with the Australian Resuscitation (ARC) Guidelines. This course includes cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) as a component.
This course applies to all persons who may be required to provide first aid, CPR and use specialised equipment to provide resuscitation or oxygen therapy in a range of situations, including community and workplace settings.
On successful completion nationally recognised Statement of Attainment for the following units of competency will be issued:

| Physical Ability | Perform at minimum 2 minutes of uninterrupted single rescuer CPR (5 cycles of both compressions and ventilations) on an adult resuscitation manikin placed on the floor |
