Surf Life Saving is an environment where anyone can thrive! Maybe of our volunteers begin life as a parent of a Nipper and go on to be valued Members of their local Club.

We all know the feeling of "hanging" around when waiting for kids activities... the endless phone scrolling and coffees. Let's put this on the side and get YOU involved.

Why? You can give back to the community on terms that suit you, be part of one of Australia's most iconic brands and show your kids what life can be like as part of the red and yellow army.

There are many ways you can get involved depending on your availability and skill set just ask your local Club how you can be involved. Here are a few examples of roles you could support with:

  • Club- based:
    • Administration
    • Registrars
    • Finances
    • Volunteering on committees and boards
    • Even being BBQ master!
  • Sport-based:
    • Team managers
    • Uniform support
    • Photography
    • Chaperones
    • Event support
  • Lifesaving-based:
    • First aid support
    • Age managers
    • Water safety support
