Surf Life Saving Queensland is pleased to announce its partnership with Shaw and Partners Summer of Surf, the leading surf sports series that brings together the best athletes, events, and experiences in the world of surf life saving.

This new collaboration brings together two powerhouses in the world of surf sports, with Summer of Surf’s renowned all-inclusive events and exceptional racing experience, and SLSQ’s unparalleled expertise and commitment to beach safety while fostering a vibrant surf life saving community.

The mutual goal of this partnership is to propel the sport to new heights in Queensland in particular and deliver unforgettable experiences to athletes and fans right across the country.

“This partnership will not only enhance the development of the surf life saving movement but also provide invaluable opportunities for our members and athletes to showcase their skills right across the 2023-24 season,” said Kurt Wilson, SLSQ General Manager. “We are committed to working closely with Summer of Surf to ensure the collaboration is a real success and that the positive benefits are felt across the entire organisation.

The Summer of Surf comprises premier events at Bondi, Manly, Alexandra Headland and Northcliffe while also supporting ten regional events around the country.
