2023 QLD Pool Rescue Championships – Results

July 25, 2023

Congratulations to the North Queensland Branch team that took out the overall point score with Currumbin SLSC taking out 2nd and Maroochydore SLSC in 3rd place.

Thanks to all those clubs that made the trek up to Cairns for the 2023 QLD Pool Rescue Championships over the weekend.  We were treated to perfect weather for a great 2 days of competition.  Thanks to North Queensland for hosting us and all the officials that also made the trip up to help.  We couldn’t do it without you!

The medals that couldn’t be distributed at the event will be sorted when we return to the Gold Coast Regional Office.  Gold Coast clubs can collect from here.  We will get in touch with Sunshine Coast Clubs about how we deliver these medals.  Any NBB and WBC medals will be posted to clubs.  Medals won by the NQB team will be sent to the North Queensland Branch Office where they can be distributed/collected.

We are always looking at areas we can improve our events and would love to get feedback from our competitors, coaches, team managers, officials, and parents from the 2023 SEQ Pool Rescue Series & QLD Pool Rescue Championships.

Please refer to the link: 2023 SEQ Pool Rescue Series & QLD Pool Rescue Championships – Feedback Survey

If you could take 5 minutes or so to complete this survey we would greatly appreciate it.  Please be sure to forward this survey to all your competitors, coaches, and carers.

Good luck to all those heading to the Gold Coast in a couple of weeks for the 2023 Australian Pool Rescue Championships.
