The 2026 North Australian Championships are heading back to Mackay, bringing competitors from across Queensland and beyond together for three days of surf sport action.

From Pool Rescue to iconic ocean and beach events, the Championships will showcase the speed, skill and teamwork at the heart of surf lifesaving, with Mackay providing the backdrop for a huge weekend of competition.

Pool Rescue: 30 October, Mackay Aquatic Centre
Ocean & Beach: 31 October – 1 November, Mackay Harbour Beach
