“Thank you to Surf Lifesaving for this inaugural safety-on-the-beach workshop at Noosa Main Beach. The workshop presented a great opportunity to participate in practical life saving activities in and out of the water. The life guards were very aware of the needs and capabilities of our participants, each of whom were able to extend themselves just bit further than their comfort zone under expert guidance. The Noosa Men’s Shed participants have gained valuable information and practical skills by attending this workshop. We will strongly encourage others to attend similar events by Life Saving Australia. The advertising brochure is accurate and well pitched. Such a valuable workshop of engaging and time effective activities would attract many over 50s.” – Frank
“Thank you so much for the fantastic opportunity to face my fears. I ended up having such a fun time and learned so much too. I particularly enjoyed the emphasis on practical skills and the opportunity to learn more about what surf lifesavers do. Please can you keep me on your mailing list. I’d like to attend again, when there is the possibility of identifying rips and a having few lessons on how to bodysurf- Mooloolaba was just too flat today. I also have a circle of about 10 friends in Maleny who all enjoy swimming in the pool and playing in the ocean. They too would both enjoy and benefit from this fantastic initiative and I’d really like to share it with them. Please thank your fantastic team again.” – Robyn
