The Advance Resuscitation Techniques (ART) course is to develop skills and knowledge to manage life-threatening external bleeding‚ use oxygen‚ airway management devices and automated external defibrillators during resuscitation, and to administer oxygen to conscious or unconscious victims.

Target Audience:
To enrol in the Advanced Resuscitation Techniques participants must first meet the listed requirements:
- Hold patrolling awards and be actively patrolling.
- Hold the unit of competency HLTAID011 Provide First Aid
- The minimum age requirement is at least 15 years of age on the date of final assessment
Learning Outcomes:
- HLTAID009 Provide Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation
- HLTAID015 Provide Advanced Resuscitation & Oxygen Therapy
