| Operations Support Person of the Year | Yes | No | No | This award is designed to recognise our Operational Support Service members, who have not only demonstrated outstanding commitment through their service, but leadership within their chosen operational field. The nominee must be able to demonstrate they have improved and progressed their chosen service in a number of ways including but not limited to, participation in developing training resources, instrumental in the development of standard operating procedures and identifying, mentoring and developing future operational support services personnel. Nominees must also be able to demonstrate they have completed patrols regularly to a high standard, assisted in call outs where possible and demonstrate all the SLSQ values. The nominee must clearly demonstrate that they possess strong leadership qualities, a well-rounded lifesaving knowledge and a positive attitude towards change and improvement of this service for future members and be seen as an ambassador for the organisation at large.
