Expression of Interest – TAE Facilitator (On-Going Projects)!

Are you a passionate and experienced TAE-qualified trainer looking to make a real difference? Surf Life Saving Queensland (SLSQ) is calling for Expressions of Interest from talented and motivated training professionals to support our ongoing training and development projects across Queensland and Inter-State Project requirements.

What You’ll Do:

  • Deliver and assess accredited and non-accredited training programs in accordance with SLSQ’s standards, RTO policies, and the requirements of the Standards for RTOs 2015 (ASQA).
  • Ensure training delivery meets the requirements of the RTO and relevant training packages.
  • Support and mentor course participants to ensure successful learning outcomes.
  • Maintain accurate records and compliance with regulatory standards.

About You:

  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116, TAE40122 equivalent or higher).
  • Relevant industry qualifications (e.g., First Aid, CPR, Bronze Medallion, Lifeguard or Surf Life Saving awards).
  • Experience in delivering VET-accredited training in a group or individual setting.
  • Current Working with Children Check (Blue Card) or ability to obtain one.
  • Weekend and weekday availability is essential – training sessions are scheduled across both weekdays and weekends, with flexibility required to meet project demands and participant needs.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills.
  • Commitment to safety, inclusion, and continuous improvement.
  • Previous experience working within a Surf Life Saving or Emergency Services in a First Responder environment (desirable).
  • Willingness to travel within Queensland as required (desirable).
