What You’ll Do:

  • Delivering and assessing CASA-compliant RePL and non-accredited RPAS training.
  • Facilitating engaging, hands-on theory and flight sessions across multiple RPAS categories.
  • Providing individualised coaching and learner support, including for those with LLN needs.
  • Contributing to the development and improvement of course content and training materials.
  • Maintaining accurate, CASA-compliant documentation.
  • Supporting occasional operational flights (e.g. SAR demos, test flights).
  • Assisting the Chief Remote Pilot (CRP) with general duties.
  • Travelling interstate for training delivery (up to one week at a time).

About You:

Essential

  • TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training & Assessment (or CASA FIR / tertiary teaching quals).
  • CASA Remote Pilot Licence (RePL) – Multi-Rotor (sub 25kg minimum).
  • CASA AROC.
  • EVLOS or NVLOS experience.
  • Solid understanding of CASA RPAS regulations.
  • Proven background in aviation training – both practical and classroom-based.
  • Willingness and ability to obtain IREX or BVLOS qualifications.

Desirable

  • Endorsements in Medium Category or Powered Lift.
  • BVLOS (OCTA or IREX).
  • Familiarity with RPAS platforms/software (e.g. DJI Pilot, Mission Planner, Ardupilot).
