This TAESS00019 Assessor Skill Set provides the necessary skills and knowledge for people to conduct assessment and operate without supervision in the vocational education and training (VET) sector, in accordance with the Standards for RTOs.
These units provide credit towards TAE40122 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment and other qualifications that allow for selection of these units.
This skill set meets the minimum education requirement for assessors operating without supervision in applicable VET legislation, frameworks and/or standards. The skill set is a successor to TAESS00011 Assessor Skill Set.
This skill set is for individuals wishing to obtain the assessment competencies to assess according to VET system requirements.
Entry Requirements
Active Surf Life Saving Queensland (SLSQ) Club members
Minimum age 18
Held Bronze Medallion for 12months
Each participant will need to be endorsed by their Club and gain approval from their club management committee/ board to undergo this training.
As per SLSQ Direct Supervision Model, each Participant will need to have a Mentor who holds the current Training and Assessment qualification or relevant skill set. The Mentor will sign the SLSQ Mentorship agreement and a copy sent to Membership Training Manager.
