Are you an organised, detail-oriented individual with a passion for supporting education and training? We’re looking for a proactive and enthusiastic Membership Training Administration Assistant to join the SLSQ Education department. In this role, you’ll play a vital part in ensuring smooth administration of training processes, maintaining compliance, and providing exceptional support to our members, staff, and stakeholders.

What You’ll Do:

  • Provide administrative support to the Membership Training Education team, ensuring efficient service delivery.
  • Communicate with members, staff, and stakeholders, offering excellent customer service.
  • Process assessments, track completions, and issue certifications.
  • Maintain accurate student records and assist with enrolments and session setups.
  • Update databases and Student Management System (aXcelerate).
  • Drive process improvements and generate reports on training outcomes.
  • Support the development and maintenance of Member Education Standard Operating Procedures, ensuring full compliance with SLSQ, RTO, and VET Quality Framework standards.
  • Ensure policies and procedures meet Australian Skills Quality Authority (ASQA) and SLSQ standards.
  • Provide accurate reports and statistics to the Member Training Manager.
  • Answer phone calls and emails, resolving inquiries professionally.

About You:

  • Working with Children Blue Card (or the ability to obtain).
  • Business Administration or relevant qualification.
  • Prior experience in an administrative or support role within a training or education environment, ideally within an RTO.
  • Proficiency with aXcelerate SMS/LMS and strong knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
  • Flexibility to work occasional weekends for conferences.
  • Experience in providing learner support.
  • High attention to detail and ability to manage tasks independently.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to prioritise tasks, manage workloads, and meet deadlines.
  • Comfortable working with databases.
