As our Membership Services Administrator, you’ll be the friendly face and dependable backbone of Surf Life Saving Queensland’s Membership Team—supporting a proud community of over 35,000 members.

What You’ll Do:

  • Acting as the first point of contact for member enquiries—delivering helpful, timely and friendly support.
  • Collaborating across teams to deliver impactful membership initiatives and programs.
  • Managing key administrative duties in line with SLSQ policies, procedures and compliance standards.
  • Providing Secretariat support to the Membership Services Committee—including preparing and distributing minutes, agendas, circulars and reports.
  • Assisting with awards and recognition processes, and playing a hands-on role in member recruitment and engagement projects.
  • Coordinating meeting logistics and event arrangements.
  • Building trusted relationships with internal teams, clubs, and external stakeholders.
  • Assisting with accommodation, travel bookings, and a variety of ad hoc tasks to support the Membership Team.
  • Attending special events and functions outside of regular hours as needed (a great way to experience the passion of our community up close!).

  • Skilled at building and maintaining strong working relationships across teams and stakeholders.
