Community Awareness Presenter

If you have a passion for education and enthusiasm for ensuing the community are safe at the beach then this is a great fit for you.

The Role of the Community Awareness Presenter is to provide an engaging delivery of SLSQ’s range of Community Awareness programs and follow program outlines and structures as set out by the organisation for delivery and implementation.

You are required to be a positive role model to all participants and conduct yourself in a manner that is befitting to the Surf Lifesaving Movement. It is essential to have the confidence to speak in front of large audiences, be outgoing and enjoy interacting with people.

Requirements

To become a Community Awareness Presenter you will need to:

  • Hold a Working with Children Blue Card – Paid Employee (or ability to obtain)
  • Hold a Proficient SLSA Bronze Medallion
  • Be a current member of an SLSC or service
  • Sound knowledge and experience in first aid and CPR.
