About the Role:

SLSQ is looking for a motivated System Support Analyst to provide a range of technological support across the SLSQ Education department by supporting the operational performance of the Learning Management System (LMS), Student Management System (SMS), the SLSQ Hub and other systems used by the department to assist in the management and delivery of education and training. In addition to providing support, you will also be actively involved in maintenance and development of application solutions, you will champion the efficiency and effectiveness of the Education Department in its design and delivery of high-quality training products and courses.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues as they arise
  • Implement and monitor strategies for the deployment, configuration and maintenance of these systems
  • Maintain and monitor the LMS and SMS systems, web-based enrolment portal and SLSQ Member Hub
  • Provide first and second-level IT support to users, resolving technical issues
  • Respond in a timely manner to service issues and requests
  • User creation, removal and maintenance
  • Collaborate with the Education team to implement technical solutions and enhancements
  • Participate in IT projects and initiatives, contributing your expertise to drive success.
  • Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction through effective communication and support.
  • Provide a high level of customer service to clients, including internal and external stakeholders, SLSQ members, and non-members
  • Assist with management of pre-enrolment surveys and enrolment procedures as required.
  • Assist with generating and providing club and branch reports as required
  • Assist with collating and reporting user feedback as required

Key Skills & Experience:

  • Working with Children Blue Card (Essential)
  • Basic understanding of child safety/National Principles, and commitment to respecting children and young people (Essential)
  • A high degree of applied computer literacy (Essential)
  • Familiarity with programming languages such as Basic/Visual Basic, SQL, HTML/CSS, JavaScript, Python (Highly Desired)
  • Familiarity with low code applications automation, low code and plugins (Highly Desired)
  • Familiarity with the Genexus platform and SQL database management (Highly Desired
  • Experience in utilising and configuring LMS and SMS (Highly Desired)
  • Experience in using Adobe Creative Cloud apps (Highly Desired)
  • The ability to trouble shoot, diagnose and find solutions to queries
  • Work effectively as part of a team, in particular the sharing of duties and information.
  • Proven experience in IT support, ideally in a Level 1/2 role.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to resolve technical issues efficiently.
  • Familiarity with IT systems, hardware, and software.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A proactive and customer-focused approach to problem-solving.
  • Ability to effectively explain technical details to others at variable levels of complexity
  • Ability to analyse problems and strategies for better solutions
  • High level of written and oral communication skills
