About the Role:

The purpose of the Marine Boat Builder role is to fabricate, assemble and repair boats and their components. This includes fabrication, trimming and construction of boats and parts of boats, as well as installing equipment to the vessel. They may also be responsible for repairing and restoring boats and ensuring that they meet safety standards. This is based in our Gold Coast Warehouse. Hours are Monday to Friday (6:30am-2:30pm).

• Fabrication, assembly and installation of boat parts.
• Perform routine repairs and maintenance.
• Inspect boats for quality assurance and safety standards.

Essential:

• Strong attention to detail.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Ability to use hand tools and power tools.
• Ability to work with a variety of materials.
• Ability to work autonomously as well as part of a team.

Desirable:

• Ability to read and interpret drawings.
• Knowledge of boat building materials and techniques.
