We are seeking a full-time motivated and passionate Lifesaving Officer – Statistics and Funding providing support to the operations team, state funding and provide a customer service to all clubs within QLD.
About the Role:
We are seeking a full-time motivated and passionate Lifesaving Officer – Statistics and Funding providing support to the operations team, state funding and provide a customer service to all clubs within QLD.
Key Responsibilities Snapshot:
- Assist in preparing correspondence and communications for funding support.
- Coordinate grant and funding related meetings.
- Coordinate grant opportunities on behalf of the company.
- Administration tasks related to reports, grants and statistics for funding deadlines.
- Agenda and minute taking responsibilities and following up action items.
- Liaising with internal and external stake holders on behalf of the company.
- Distributing grant information by required deadline.
- Maintain and update records related to Lifesaving operations.
- Monthly quality assurance standards are met.
- Assisting with procurement for lifesaving equipment.
- Updating and maintaining of registers for clubs and branches based on grant allocations and government funding.
- Ensure statistics are up to date in Surf guard and LIMSOC database.
- Monthly statistics are up to date.
- Annual reports are updated on appropriate sites.
- Reception relief when required.
Key Selection Criteria:
- Working with Children Blue Card (or ability to obtain) (Essential)
- Proof of Identity Check and National Police Clearance (or ability to obtain) (Essential)
- Understanding of National Principles for Child Safe Organisations (Essential)
- Current Driver’s License
- Good computer knowledge with high competency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Ability to work autonomously
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Experience in dealing with corporate governance
- Strong administrative skills (such as minute taking, report writing, policy/procedure interpretation, booking meetings etc.)
- Exceptional presentation and interpersonal skills
- Proven experience in managing confidential/sensitive matters
- Sound problem solving skills
- Ability to plan and prioritise workloads to meet deadlines
- Outstanding organisational and time management skills
- Ability to communicate and get along with people from all levels within an organisation and from all works of life
