READY.SET.RESCUE. is a Surf Life Saving initiative to help school kids stay active, healthy and learn how to stay safe at the beach.
The program combines dry and water based activities designed to be fun, interactive and a great way to educate students on the important aspects of sun, surf and beach safety, whilst also increasing their skills and confidence in the water and on the beach. Important surf safety information is integrated into activities.
The Australian Government initiative is designed to help schools to increase children’s participation in sport. Funding can be used for READY.SET.RESCUE lifesaving programs run by Surf Life Saving Queensland (SLSQ) throughout the state.
