SLSQ Statewide Facilities Report

With 33,000 members, six branches, and 57 affiliated surf clubs across the state, SLSQ’s reach spans from Port Douglas in the far north down to Rainbow Bay in the south.

SLSQ’s Statewide Facilities Report was commissioned to provide guidance for clubs and the broader organisation, along with an overarching framework for infrastructure needs and development moving forward.

Importantly, the project has led to a more coordinated, strategic, and innovative approach to the ongoing provision and development of surf lifesaving facilities for current and future members alike.

SLSQ thanks and acknowledges the Queensland Government for its critical support of this project, via funding received from the Department of Housing and Public Works (Sport and Recreation).
